Our commitments

Welcome to Vitraux de Saint-Rémi, a place that offers much more than just tourist accommodation. Guided by a commitment to sustainable tourism and environmental conservation, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our community and the world around us. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint.

Our environmental efforts

In order to offer you eco-responsible accommodation and more sustainable services, we are committed to the following actions. These will provide you with the best experience in accommodation, which is resolutely geared towards more sustainable tourism.

  • Waste management: to facilitate the sorting of waste, we offer a waste bin with inserts. These bins facilitate the separation of residual waste from paper or bottles, among other materials. We also offer certified organic care and hygiene products, available in large volumes. Our product line includes glass carafes equipped with a purifying carbon stick, enhancing the quality of tap water. This allows you to purify your water naturally and avoid bottled water.
  • Managing energy and water consumption: we have selected an EDF Vert Électrique contract. Additionally, we have selected light bulbs that ensure minimal energy consumption. To conserve water, we have fitted each tap with a tap aerator, and the shower is equipped with a hand shower that reduces the flow of water by 50% to 75%.
  • Upon your arrival, you will be presented with a selection of local products, including a jar of authentic Dieppois Caramel de Pommes, a packet of La 76 home-made chips, and a Neufchâtel cheese. Les Vitraux’s location offers convenient access to the renowned market, voted France’s most beautiful market in 2020. This market is open every Saturday and Place Nationale on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the week. By purchasing locally, you can contribute to a more sustainable environment by reducing packaging and transportation-related emissions. This approach not only supports local economies but also contributes to environmental sustainability.

To further reduce our environmental impact, we recommend consulting ADEME’s kit of ecogestures.
